Angourie is a famous surfing location on the North Coast of NSW, located to the north of the Yuragir National Park. It boasts beautiful beaches, fantastic surf, excellent fishing, and scenic bushwalks in an attractive and setting with parks and picnic areas. Originally just an isolated surfing spot it has now grown to include holiday accommodation, general store and a cafe and restaurant. Wooloweyah Lagoon is a great for fishing and boating and there are many great walks in and around Angourie. Walk to Spookies Beach that is a great spot for whale and dolphin watching. Try the surf at the Back Beach on the southern side of Angourie Point, The Point and Spookies Beach, which is great for families and kids. You can also swim in the Green and Blue Pools, which old quarry sites now filled with water. There are always many things to do and see in Angourie.
