Arno Bay is a small fishing port, holiday spot and aquaculture centre on Spencer Gulf, between Cowell and Port Neill. It is located 25 km from Cleve and 540 km north-west of Adelaide. It is a great location for a holiday and is renowned for its beaches and fishing - both in the bay and in the nearby tidal estuary. Visitors enjoy the peaceful white sandy beaches, and its variety of fishing from the beach, boat, rock, estuary and jetty. One of the best fishing spots is the jetty, and the excellent boat ramp provides access to the rich off-shore fishing grounds. Redbanks, located about 6 km north of Arno Bay, is the most popular spot for beach fishing, targeting, flathead, King George whiting, snapper and mulloway. The large sandy bay is ideal for boating, swimming, windsurfing, kyaking, canoeing, sailing and scenic walks. The grand Arno Bay Hotel is the social cente of the town and the caravan park is a very popular place to stay.
