Bicheno is a beautiful, friendly and charming seaside resort village on the East Coast of Tasmania, located about 180 km north east of Hobart and 175 km south east of Launceston. Bicheno popular for holidays with a range of comfortable motels, excellent boating and fishing facilities, its sheltered lovely beaches and its fascinating coastal walks along superb rocky outcrops and stunning blowholes. Bicheno was initially established as a whaling centre as early as 1803 and seals were also hunted.
