Biloela is a rural service and tourist centre in Central Queensland, situated about 120 km inland from Gladstone. Biloela has a diverse range of industries including cotton, sorghum and wheat, and coal supplying the Callide Power Stations. There is a large abattoir is in the town. Biloela`s biggest attraction is The SILO a fascinating display about the local primary industries including information about beef and dairy cattle, cotton growing and processing , redclaw crayfish production, ostrich farming, agriculture and grain growing and Landcare. Callide B Powerhouse offers tours from Tuesday to Friday at the facility located about 17 km from Biloela. Visit the Kroombit National Park with magnificent sandstone escarpments and see subtropical rainforest, spectacular scenery and palm fringed waterfalls.
