Blackmans Bay is an outer beachside suburb of Hobart, in the Kingston Region. It is located next tothe toen of Kingston and 14 km south of Hobart. Blackmans Bay is a very popular area and features the lovely Blackmans Bay Beach which has spectacular swells during storms. There is a small blowhole, located in the reserve on Talone Road at the Kingston end of Blackmans Bay Beach. There are excellent views from Pierson`s Point Lookout that is located between Tinderbox and Blackmans Bay. Blackmans Bay is a fantastic base for exploring the many attractions in the region including: # The Antarctic Division Headquarters # The Huon Trail # Tahune Air Walk # Hastings Caves # The World Heritage Areas and National Parks and of course all the delights of Hobart.
