It is a very popular holiday spot with fantastic fishing, canoeing, kayaking and boating in the magnificent Harvey Estuary and at the beaches near Dawesville. Anglers can go fishing on the beaches, in the Harvey Estuary, at the jetty at the Dawesville cut and in the nearby Peel Inlet. There are many wonderful golf courses nearby. You can go snorkeling and diving and explore the reef at low tide. The nearby town of Mandurah has over 100 square kilometres of waterways to enjoy boating, fishing, canoeing, kayaking and sailing. The Harvey Estuary and Peel Inlet have outstanding scenery and are popular for fishing and crabbing, as well for eco-tours and diving adventures to see the bird life, dolphins and other marine life. There is a range of wonderful places to stay on the waterfront in the Bouvard area and the area nearby.
