The history of the area is displayed in the Broomehill Museum which was built in 1898 and purchased by the Shire Council to be used as a museum. The museum houses a wonderful range of photographs and memorabilia of Broomehill early days. The economy of the area is mostly dependent on wheat and sheep farming although there have been diversification into wine grapes and wine and aquaculture ( Barramundi farming ). There are many local attractions for the visitor including The Holland Track, which is a renowned walking track that starts in Broomehill and finishes in Coolgardie.
