There are also many land-based activities such as camping, bushwalking, 4WDriving and shoreline walks. Burnett Heads extends from Mon Repos beach south to the mouth of the Burnett River. The river, beaches, estuaries and offshore areas are very popular for fishing and boating activities. The broad expanse of the lower Burnett River is home to the Bundaberg Sailing Club.
