Burns Beach is a suburb of Perth in the Sunset Coast Region of Western Australia, located about 34 km north of the central business district of Perth. Burns Beach has maintained its original character as a coastal holiday village even as the metropolitan influence spread to engulf it. The beach is very popular among hang gliding enthusiasts and for swimming, fishing and surfing. The original caravan park provides holiday accommodation for visitors. Burns Beach marks the start of a coastal nature walk that extends all the way south to Fremantle. Burns Beach also has a cafe and restaurant with outdoor seating, and parkland areas with picnic and BBQ barbecues facilities.
