Campbell Town is a beautiful historic town with a wealth of early nineteenth century buildings in the North Central Region of Tasmania, located about 67 km south of Launceston and 132 km north of Hobart on the Midland Highway. You can visit the craft, antique and specialty shops as well as the Heritage Highway Museum. Take a self-guided historic walk through the town and see Convict Brick Trail that runs along High Street. Each brick has convict`s name on it, their crimes and subsequent punishment. Explore the wonderful collection of colonial buildings, including the Grange, the home of the local wealthy doctor, The Foxhunters Return a 19th century inn, St Luke`s Church and the convict-built Red Bridge.
