Cleve is a small rural town in the heart of Eyre Peninsula, South Australia, located about 225 km southwest of Port Augusta and 140 km north of Port Lincoln. It is an important service centre for the local sheep, cereal grains, oilseeds, pulses and wheat growing area. Cleve is only twenty minutes from the popular resort town of Arno Bay and has a rich heritage, natural beauty and many attractions. Visitors can explore the history of Cleve in the National Trust Agricultural and Folk Museum. The Cleve Coffee and Craft centre showcases the local art and craft of the district. The Yeldulknie weir and Reservoir offers a good spot for picnics, bird watching and bush walking trails. There are other walking trials at the Wharminda Soaks and adjoining Hincks Reserve.
