Cooroy is a small rural town located on the hinterland of the Sunshine Coast about 22 km west of Noosa Heads. Cooroy has a hotel, and good sport facilities a Bowls Club, a Golf Club and the RSL Club. Cooroy is home of the Noosa Botanical Garden is situated on Lake MacDonald which is located just outside of the town. Cooroy was originally focused on timber and dairying and is now famous for Cooroy Water which flows from Cooroy Mountain and sold as mineral water all over Australia.
