The Central Coast area is located between Newcastle and Sydney, from the northern end of the Tuggerah lakes system south to the Hawkesbury River. Copacabana is located between Mac Masters Beach and Avoca Beach. It is renowned as one of the best surfing beaches on the Central Coast and you can walk along the beach to MacMasters Beach. There are many shops at the Copacabana Village including cafes, bakery, restaurants a newsagent and a supermarket. Copacabana is surrounded by National Parks and has excellent bushwalking and scenery. Copacabana Beach is an excellent beach for swimming, surfing and family fun. To south there is a lovely lagoon where you can go fishing, canoeing or kayaking, or you can relax and have a picnic. There are many excellent beaches in the local area such as Terriga, Avoca and Forresters Beach. At Avoca Beach where there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, bottle store, pubs etc.
