The great appeal at Coral Bay is its access to the magnificent wonders of the 260 km Ningaloo Reef which lies close to the shore and forming a natural lagoon which is ideal for people wishing to go snorkeling, scuba diving, kayak tours or explore the reef from a charter boat. There is also great fishing outside of the Sanctuary areas a Coral Bay and Ningaloo Reef. The migration of the humpback whales is also viewable from whale watching cruises from June to October. Whale sharks also visit the area between March and June.
