Coronet Bay is a small village and holiday centre on the Victorian Bass Coast, located about 110 km south east of Melbourne, close to Western Port. Coronet Bay has a great beach, an excellent boat ramp and is very popular fishing and boating spot. There are BBQs, playgrounds and public toilets at the end of Cutty Sark Road. Coronet Bay has a well-stocked general store which supplies most items, food, petrol and liquor. Coronet Bay is close to the wonderful array of wineries located on the Gurdies and Mornington Peninsula and is just 10 minutes from all the attractions and facilities of Phillip Island. Coronet Bay has fantastic fishing, and there is excellent surfing at both Phillip Island, which is just 10 minutes away and has patrolled beaches, and Kilkunda (also 10 minutes away). Coronet Bay features a small jetty for fishing and you can hire boats for fishing in the bay. A vehicular barge service runs from Corinella to the fabulous French Island for carrying cars, transport vehicles, supplies, passengers and stock. There are man excellent bushwalking tracks at Settlement Point with fantastic views overlooking French Island and Westernport.
