The Heritage Trail will provide you with the historical background and heritage of the community. There are fantastic walking trails along the river bank and see the local environment and birdlife. Visit the Cunnamulla Fella Centre and look through the art gallery and displays showcasing opal mining, wool, local history, native vegetation and describing the Great Artesian Basin. The Cunnamulla Fella Festival is held each year in November and includes country music and rodeo. Late August is the time for the Festival of Opals at Cunnamulla-Eulo which includes a local fair, various sports and recreation competitions, local crafts, art displays, the Yowah opal fields safari, and the World Lizard Racing Championship.
