The neighbouring town of Dayboro and D`Aguilar itself are the gateways to the fabulous D'Aguilar Mountain Range, which is included in the Great Dividing Range that extends north and south parallel with the coast. The small tourist town of Dayboro is located within the lower foothills about midway along the range of hills. The Mountains in the range include Mount Pleasant, Mount Glorious, Camp Mountain, Mount Nebo, Mount Samson and Mount Mee. Nearby are the intriguing Glass House Mountains. This area has fabulous scenery and wonderful bushwalking and camping areas and diverse flora and fauna just waiting to be explored.
