Dennes Point is a wonderful holiday and weekend getaway destination with a wide range of attractions and excellent boating and fishing facilities. These is also a lovely sheltered swimming beach with a delightful picnic and BBQ area, and stunning views of the channel and Derwent estuary. You can go fishing or diving from the jetty, shore or boat. Nearby is Bull Bay that was an important whaling station in the 1820s.
