Dingo Beach is small waterfront village north of Proserpine, with a friendly atmosphere. Dingo Beach is a beach lover`s delight with long expanses of white, sandy beaches to explore go beach fishing on. You can have picnic or BBQ under shady trees next to the beach or go shopping in the local village. There is a Dugong sanctuary near by and various nature reserves, ideal. The area is very popular for boating, canoeing, kayaking and fishing. You can launch your boat and explore the sheltered bays of Gloucester Island, which is a National Park area. There is a lagoon at East Side Bay that has an abundance of crabs and fish.
