While Harbour Beach is the only beach in the area that is regularly patrolled most of the week, Eimeo Beach, Blacks Beach, Lamberts Beach (Slade Point), and Sarina Beach have patrols most weekends and provide a fantastic range of environments for all conditions. At low tide you can walk from Eimeo Beach to the next beach Dolphin Heads. Make sure you have lunch at the Pacific Hotel at Eimeo Beach which has the counter lunch with a million-dollar view. This hotel is located on top of a cliff overlooking Eimeo Beach, Sunset Bay and the magnificent Coral Sea. You can fish from the beach and there are many boat ramps in the area for offshore fishing and diving trips. Charter boat fishing trips are available in Mackay.
