Elizabeth Beach is a very popular spot for a weekend getaway and a family holiday. The beach is very picturesque and it is surrounded by the Booti Booti National Park. The Beach is deal for surfing and swimming and is patrolled on summer weekends and during the school holidays. You can start the Booti Booti nature walk at the northern end of the beach and climb to the top of the headland and see its stunning views. There are excellent BBQ and picnic facilities in the middle of the beach. There are a wide range of places on the beachfront and on the shores of the Wallis Lake and in the local region. The beach is also well known for the annual Battle of Boats and the surf carnivals.
