- Where to Go, What to See and Do

Listed Below are the Eucla - Holiday Activities, Tours, Attractions - Find where to Go, what to See and Do.
Eucla is a small tourist service town located in the far east of Western Australia along the Eyre Highway in the Nullarbor Plain area, about 11 km west of the South Australian border and 1420 km east of Perth border. Eucla is the only place on the Eyre Highway where you can get a direct view of the Great Australian Bight, as the road into Western Australia moves inland from the coast at this point. From the highway there are many side tracks that lead south to the coast and offer spectacular views of the Great Australian Bight and the Southern Ocean. There are lots of limestone caves and fantastic surf, though the location on both is not widely known. The Old Telegraph Station, which is a favourite with tourists, is located about 5 km south of the town. Closeby is Koonalda Cave which has a huge 40 metre entrance into a 20 metre drop to a lake more than 100 m below the surface of the Nullarbor. There are ladders and walkways but and entry should only be attempted by experienced cave explorers with the right equipment.
