Gayndah is a rural town located on the Burnett River, about 145 km west of the Maryborough and 365 km north of Brisbane. It is the heart of Queensland`s citrus area and is known as the `The Orange Capital of Queensland`, which is celebrated by the huge `Big Orange` on the outskirts of the town. Gayndah was settled in 1849, and is the oldest town in Queensland. Gayndah offers a genuine Queensland country experience and a friendly welcome and boasts with a variety of interesting attractions and activities for the visitor.
