The local area is drained by the north flowing Wooroloo and Gidgegannup Brooks. Gidgegannup is a very picturesque farmingl area with many nature reserves, major rural properties, a number of hobby farms and an abundance of wildflowers in the spring along the Wildflower Scenic Drive. Just north of the Gidgegannup town site is Noble Falls, which is an excellent spot for a picnic or for bushwalking bush along the walking trails. There several bed and breakfast properties and a variety or other accommodation in the area.
