You can hire a boat or yacht or launch your own vessel and explore the complex system of rivers, lakes, estuary and network of channels providing splendid, sailing, fishing and boating. The lake itself is about 10 km wide and 26 km long and there are many picnic areas, boat ramps and other access points along its shores. All the four rivers, the Wallingat, Wallamba, Wang Wauk and Coolongolook that drain into Wallis lake can be explored and there are is very popular for sailing, canoeing, kayaking, boating, fishing and waterskiing.
