Hamelin Bay is a beautiful bay and a small tourist town in the South West Region of Western Australia. Hamelin Bay is located about 30km south of Margaret River, between Cape Leeuwin and Cape Naturaliste. To the south lies Cape Leeuwin and the north, the beach at Hamelin Bay leads to the Boranup Sand Patch and eventually to the Margaret River. The nearest town is Karridale. The wide sandy bay at Hamelin Bay has a beautiful rocky headland with clean, sheltered waters offering beach fishing from boat beach and shore, safe swimming, snorkelling, wreck, reef and cave diving and year round boating. There is a caravan park and camping area at Hamelin Bay and lots of there accommodation.The clear pristine Hamelin Bay is ideal for beach and boat fishing, safe swimming, canoeing, kayaking and all types of boating activities. You can enjoy snorkelling and scuba diving on wrecks and caves just off-shore from Hamelin Bay. Or you can simply relax on the beautiful white beach, that extends right around the bay. You can also enjoy bushwalking and bird watching along the famous Leeuwin Walk Trail.
