It is also a gateway for the delights of the Great Ocean Road. Lake Hamilton is located at the eastern end of town and is enclosed by 25 hectares of parkland. The lake has a beautiful sandy beach located at the extreme end of Rippon Road, adjacent to picnic and BBQ facilities.
