Harrington is located at the mouth of the Manning River, near Crowdy Head. It is only about 26 km east of Taree and is a charming and popular holiday resort and weekend getaway destination on the Mid North Coast of NSW. Close by are all the attractions of Crowdy Bay National Park, which has many fantastic fishing spots and bushwalking areas along the road through to Diamond Head. The northern arm of the Manning River discharges into the ocean at Harrington and the views from Pilot Hill Lookout along the coast are spectacular. The offshore reefs and sand banks, the estuary, river, breakwater and coastal bay and inlets and beaches provide great angling opportunities. There are many places to stay at Harrington and Crowdy Head, both of which have excellent recreational facilities.
