Nearby Narawntapu National Park has diverse wildlife and there are other conservation areas in the Port Sorell Conservation Area and charming bushland reserves at Port Sorell and Hawley Beach. Take the short drive to Latrobe and you can explore the antique shops and taste the fine, locally-made chocolates and cheeses.
