There is excellent fishing and snorkelling right off the beach but boat access to the bay very limited. There are several holiday houses available for rent at Hydeaway Bay and a lovely Caravan Park in peaceful bush setting just 250 m from the beach. Wildlife comes right into the caravan park including: Kangaroos, Wallabies, Potaroos and lots of native birds. Hydeaway Bay has long sandy beaches and rocky headland ideal for fishing.
