Indented Head is a wonderful spot for camping with its sheltered swimming beach and great boating and fishing spots. It is also an excellent place for long walks along the foreshore and bicycle track along to the foreshore to Portarlington. The foreshore is dotted with camping areas and reserves, that bustles with holiday makers during the summer months. The headland has a boat ramp and a jetty and Indented Head is very popular for boating and fishing. The neighbouring town of St Leonards has an excellent shopping centre with general stores, restaurants, cafes and several specialty stores. The charming pub at St Leonards with its large beer garden which overlooks the St Leonards Pier, us the hub of entertainment in the local district.
