Irvinebank is a mining town on the Atherton Tablelands, west of Herberton, which is a unique living museum, a place where time as effectively stood still. Irvinebank is a delight for anyone interested in living history and heritage architecture. There is a hotel, a collection of old buildings, a heritage railway station and a tin mill. Visit the Loudoun House Museum established in the home of John Moffat who was the founder of Irvinebank. See the School of Arts hall, Tramway Station, the old Queensland National Bank, the old Police Station, Vulcan mine, and Court House, Mango Cottage, Tin Town Gallery, Freethinker Cottage and the Cemetery.
