The Barren Grounds Bird Observatory and Nature Reserve and Minnamurra Rainforest are both close to Jamberoo and have excellent scenery, bushwalking and flora and fauna. It is also home to the Jamberoo Action Park, a family adventure playground. There is great range of action packed rides mostly based on water slides, the Mountain Toboggan and you can ride the surf in the Outback Bay wave pool or just laze on the sand beside pool. There are lots of picnic areas and food outlets.
