The Jan Juc beach lies between Bird Rock to the West and Rocky Point to the East. It and is enclosed by high cliffs at either end and is patrolled during summer months. The famous Jan Juc Surf Beach is one several renowned surf beaches in the Torquay area. The 27km Surf Coast Walk runs from Aireys Inlet to Jan Juc, through coastal bushland, along beaches and skirting the clifftops. At Tiger Moth World on the edge of town, you can take an aerobatic or scenic flight over the Great Ocean Road. The complex includes an adventure park for the children and a Tiger Moth museum. Nearby Bellbrae, 6 km to the west, there is an interesting museum with a fine collection of horse-drawn carriages. Anglesea, located about 15 km away is a tranquil beach resort with many attractions and a wide range of recreational activities.
