Kadina is the largest town on the Yorke Peninsula, located about 140 km north-northwest of Adelaide. It is part of three Copper mining in the area and is about 20 km north-east of Moonta and 8 km east of the port town of Wallaroo. Visit the Farm Shed Museum and Tourism Centre, just out of town towards Moonta to learn of the history and heritage of the town. Kadina also hosts the Kernewek Lowender Festival. The original European settlers from this area were mainly Cornish, and this is shown by the architecture of the historic buildings including the Royal Exchange Hotel, Wombat Hotel, Kadina Hotel and a number of the churches. There are many great walks around the town to view these buildings and to explore the surrounding mines.
