Kata Tjuta and Uluru, located about 30 km to the east, are the two major landmarks and tourist attractions within the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. There are 36 separate domes in the area, covering an area of about 22 square kilometres. The highest is Mount Olga at 1066 m above sea level, or about 546 m above the surrounding plain. Mount Olga is about 200 m higher than Uluru). Kata Tjuta can be reached quickly via Ayers Rock Airport and road transport. There are two walks around the Olgas. The Valley of the Winds Walk is a 7 km long track that goes around several of the Olgas. It is also best to walk early in the morning. The other walk is the Olga Gorge Walk (Tatintjawiya), which is 2 km long. The closest accommodation to the Olgas is at the Ayers Rock Resort, which has a range of accommodation to suit all budgets and tastes.
