Kewarra lies at the southern end of a long stretch of beautiful sandy beaches that include Clifton Beach and Palm Cove. Clifton Beach is sheltered from the south-easterly swell by a rocky headland, and most of the bay is filled with shallow sandbanks. However the water is deep enough for swimming and it is a fantastic place for a holiday with a young family. The wide beach is clean and sandy and has play equipment, picnic tables, and public amenities. There is a limited range of beachfront accommodation at Kewarra Beach.
