Kilaben Bay is situated on Lake Macquarie and near Rathmines and Carey Bay, and south of Toronto. You can relax at the many beaches around the lake itself or at the nearby surfing beaches Blacksmiths Beach and Caves Beach. The sandy inlets, beaches, quiet bays and sheltered foreshores around the Lake are perfect for snorkelling, swimming and fishing - Try Wangi, Shingle Splitters Point and Cam's Wharf. The world-renowned Hunter Valley Wine Region is nearby. The Watagan Mountains provide a spectacular background to the Lake, and you can walk, hike, bike, or ride on horseback on tracks around the reserve area. There are many great places to stay on the waterfront at Kilaben Bay and in the surrounding area.
