Kilcoy is a small rural town and service centre located about 50 km west of Caboolture and 95 km northwest of Brisbane via the D'Aguilar Highway in the Brisbane Region of Queensland. Kilcoy has a wonderful array of water sports available at nearby Lake Somerset, which offers fishing, waterskiing, sailing, kayaking and canoeing. The mountains of the Conondale Range, State Forests and the Conondale National Park provide wonderful bushwalking, mountain biking, camping, nature appreciation and eco-tours. The Jimna State Forest has many challenging 4WD tracks. Kilcoy is famous for its historic Queenslander houses and beautiful gardens, and has a fscinating heritage which is showcased by walking through the town.
