Lamberts Beach is a beautiful beach, overlooking the spectacular Cumberland Islands offshore. Lamberts Beach is patrolled during the swimming months and the surf is very popular with experienced surfers and beginners when the swells are suitable. Lamberts Beach is also a great spot for whale watching during the winter months. It has good tourist facilities with shaded picnic tables, BBQs, playgrounds that are all available in the park near the beach. The Slade Point Reserve offers excellent bushwalks, wildlife viewing and bird watching. It is over 73 hectares in size and conserves paperbark forests and coastal dunes. Visitors can walk through the reserve and explore the native flora and fauna. Lamberts Beach on the shore of McReadys Creek, and Slade Point are very popular fishing locations. There is a wide range of places to stay near the beach and there are many great attractions and recreational facilities in this area.
