Listed Below are the Lamb Island - Holiday Activities, Tours, Attractions - Find where to Go, what to See and Do.Located in the southern section of the magnificent Moreton Bay, offshore of Brisbane, is a group of five small islands that provide wonderful island getaway for Brisbane`s population, day-tippers and holiday makers. Secluded and sheltered, these beautiful islands can be visited by means of water taxi and vehicular ferry. Lamb Island is very small, only 2km by 1km, but it has beautiful natural areas, including a small rainforest pocket and excellent features. There is a swimming enclosure on north-eastern end of the island, good picnic spots, excellent walking tracks and a range of Bed and Breakfasts and other holiday accommodation. It has excellent fishing and boating and turtles, dugongs and dolphins and can often be seen in the waters around Lamb Island. The other four islands are Macleay Island, Karragarra Island, Russell Island, and the others are Coochiemudlo Island . These islands have mangrove foreshores, sandy beaches and rainforest pockets, and are popular spots for swimming, boating, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, picnicking and BBQs. There are also cafes and restaurants on some of the islands.
