There are a total of seven villages and towns which together form the Camden Haven district adjoining the Camden Haven River, with the others being Dunbogan, Bonny Hills, North Haven, Kew, Kendall and Comboyne. Laurieton is located at the mouth of the Camden Haven River beneath North Brother Mountain. There is a fantastic array of beaches, lagoons and waterways to explore and enjoy. You can launch your boat and explore and try your luck fishing in Watson Taylors Lake, Queens Lake, Stingray Creek, Camden Haven Inlet. The main species targeted are bream, flathead, whiting, and blackfish in the lakes and rivers. Offshore and from the rocks and beaches you can catch rock, cod, jewfish, tailor, leather jacket, snapper and drummer.
