The famous NSW coastal township of Lennox Head lies at southern most end of Seven Mile Beach adjoining Lennox Headland, south of Byron Bay. Lennox Head is a fantastic holiday destination with a huge range of activities, attractions and entertainment in the town and nearby region. The attractive tree lined main street runs parallel with the beach and has many cafes, restaurants, shops and a long park forming a backdrop to the famous beach. Nearby is the very popular Lake Ainsworth with its great picnic facilities and excellent swimming. There are boats for hire, and fantastic sailing. Just south is Lennox Point which is well-known for its perfectly formed right-hand surf break attracting surfers from right around Australia and the world. Seven Mile Beach is a fantastic long stretch of pristine, secluded beach backed by coastal heath. It is great for waling and jogging, fishing, surfing, canoeing and kayaking. Lennox is also very popular for kite surfing, hang-gliding, wind surfing and all kinds of boating. Lennox has an easy going atmosphere and a wonderful friendly ambiance that welcomes visitors.
