Marburg has a fascinating heritage and features a number of historic buildings. Built in 1890, the plantation-style Woodlands Mansion with its marble fireplaces and original rich cedar walls has a magnificent restaurant. The Marburg Hotel is a distinctive old Queensland style pub which is now listed by the National Trust. The Hotel, which was completed in 1881, is one of the most important heritage buildings in the town and is well worth a visit. Other attractions include the Marburg Motorcycle Museum. There are a number of natural areas that provide excellent bushwalking, camping and mountain biking tracks in the area.
