Moora is the largest wheat belt town between Perth and Geraldton, located 177 km north of Perth in the Golden Outback Region of Western Australia. Moora has excellent facilities including shops, schools, commerce and retail sectors, medical and community recreational facilities. The Moora Country Campout is a 3-day festival held on the Easter Weekend every year, attracts music fans and Country Ute enthusiasts for all over Australia. Local attractions include Berkshire Valley Museum and the Moora Town Clock. The surrounding area is focused on growing wheat, canola, barley, oaten hay and lupins, as well as the raising of sheep, cattle and pigs. There is a silica mine located 15 km north of Moora. The big attractions are the wildflowers which bloom in spring after rains. There are more than 8000 species of wildflowers in Western Australia and Noora has several species that areonly found in this area.
