Mount Perry is an attractive rural service centre and former mining town located about 100 km south-west of Bundaberg, dominated by the peak of Mount Perry that rises to 750 m above the township, which is home to the large gold mine at Mount Rawdon. The focus for the Mount Perry community is changing to vineyards and olive groves, with the Wonbah Winery providing tastings and cellar doorway sales. Tou can bushwalk to the top of Mount Perry and also through the neighbouring close by Goodnight Scrub National Park.
