Myalup has excellent fishing and beautiful golden beaches for swimming. The beautiful Lake Preston, located in Yalgorup National Park, is a haven for wildlife, birdlife and features spectacular wildflowers in Spring and provides fantastic bushwalking trials. Microbial mounds, which are the remains of ancient thrombolites, one of the first life forms known on earth, can be seen at Lake Preston. Large sand dunes at Myalup provide scenic views of the ocean and you can often see dolphins swimming offshore along this stretch of coast. There is a range of accommodation in Myalup including a caravan park.
