Nhulunbuy (Gove )is located on the The Gove Peninsula in East Arnhem Land, Northern Territory. Nhulunbuy is a mining and tourist town supporting the Alcan Gove Alumina Refinery and mining operation. It is also a thriving tourist centre. Nhulunbuy has outstanding facilities for sailing, angling, four wheel driving, camping, cultural tours, snorkelling, diving ecotours, sightseeing, bush walking and bird watching. Locals and tourists enjoy boating, fishing, sailing and four wheel drive excursions to the wonderful range of coastal and wilderness inland areas in the vicinity.
