South of Nubeena is Cape Raoul State Reserve, which boasts two major attractions - Tunnel Bay, a natural rock tunnel and a spectacular cliff walk at Shipstern Bluff. offshore is Wedge Island which is an important nesting habitat for the shearwater. There is fantastic fishing in Wedge Bay and the local shores and beaches, and a wide range of other activities such as swimming, bush walking, canoeing, kayaking and wind surfing.
