Listed Below are the Nullagine - Holiday Activities, Tours, Attractions - Find where to Go, what to See and Do.Nullagine is an old goldmining town in the Pilbara Region of Western Australia, located on the Nullagine River about 300 km south-east of Port Hedland and 1,370 km north-north-east of Perth on the old Great Northern Highway. The town began when gold was discovered in the area in 1886. The first grazers settled in the area in the 1880s and the town boomed between 1895 and 1914. Visitors can still fossick for gold in the area and a trip to the beautiful Beaton`s Rockhole and Gorge located 4 km to the west of the town is a good spot to look for both gold and precious stones. Other interesting attractions are the Nullagine lookout on the Conglomerate Hills 4 km to the north of the town, and the Chinese walls which were built by the Chinese gold miners as sluices.
